J’ai laissé un peu de côté mes outils de harnachement en ce moment et je me consacre davantage au custom. Alors que je continue les tests avec le Khemosabi, j'ai aussi entamé un travail plus important sur Primera pour retoucher la sculpture et refaire les crins entièrement. La jument se retrouve donc avec une nouvelle queue et une crinière qui n'ont plus grand-chose à voir avec ceux d'origine.
J'ai aussi fait un collier de chasse avec une martingale à fourche pleine qui sera échangée contre un cheval avec une amie du forum français. C'était ma première martingale de ce genre et j'avoue que j'en suis plutôt satisfaite.
Mais comme je manque un peu de motivation en ce moment pour faire du harnachement, je me suis inscrite au National Model Tack Month!!! Sur le modèle du NaMoPaiMo, un défi harnachement pour le mois d'Avril est lancé aux volontaires. Et comme il me fallait un truc un peu challenge, j'ai décidé d'essayer de faire une armure en cuir à Dante, mon Cleveland Bay. Ce qui me donnera aussi une bonne excuse pour enfin le restaurer et éventuellement le customer puisqu'il a le physique parfait pour un destrier. Affaire à suivre...

I left my leather tools for a moment, continuing my custom horse porject. Now, Primera has a new mane and tail and she was primed. Now, I have to make her her new bay coat.
I also made a breast collar with martingale. It was my first try at this kind of martingale, and I'm quite satisfied with it. This was made for a trade with a friend from the french model horse forum.
But as I am in a lack of motivation for tack making these days, I registered for the National Tack Month beginning in April. And because I like trying new stuff, I decided to make a leather armor for Dante, my Breyer Cleveland Bay. It will also make me fix him (he has some rubs and a ear tip missing) or maybe custom him because he is the perfect model for a war horse.
